Man’s Fall from Window in Aurora Caused by Own Actions; SIU Terminates Investigation

Numéro du dossier: 18-OCI-109

Mississauga, ON (4 mai 2018) ---
The Director of the Special Investigations Unit, Tony Loparco, has terminated an investigation into the serious injury sustained by a 28-year-old man last month in Aurora.

At approximately 2:30 a.m. on April 8, 2018, police were made aware of two suspicious men in backyards of homes on Boland Court. Upon arrival, officers located an insecure back door at one of the homes and entered. The 28-year-old man – who was upstairs – broke a window and attempted to lower himself out the window. However, he fell to the ground. Officers located the unconscious man on the ground under the window.

Director Loparco said, “The man’s injuries were caused by his own actions. Accordingly, I have terminated the investigation into this incident.”
