Mississauga, ON (21 June, 2019) ---
The Interim Director of the Special Investigations Unit, Joseph Martino, has determined there are no reasonable grounds to lay criminal charges against a Toronto Police Service officer in relation to the serious injuries sustained by a 36-year-old man in June of 2018 when the vehicle he was in was involved in a collision. Shortly before the collision, police had been pursing the vehicle.
