The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) reported that at 10:25 p.m. they responded to a call on Cleroux Street (Blackburn Hamlet), Ottawa. As an officer arrived at the call a Pontiac car left the scene. The officer attempted to stop the car to investigate the driver. The driver did not stop and a pursuit ensued.
The driver lost control of the car on Innes Road. The car left the road and struck a parked vehicle and then a house. The 19 year old Ottawa man driving the car was taken to the Ottawa Civic Hospital for treatment of his injuries..
