Mississauga, ON (18 September, 2025) ---
The province’s Special Investigations Unit is continuing to investigate a collision in London that resulted in the death of one person, and serious injuries to two other individuals.

At approximately 3 p.m. on September 10, 2025, a London Police Service officer attempted to stop the driver of a pickup truck as there was an occupant in the bed of the vehicle. The driver fled. Shortly after, the truck became involved in a collision with an SUV at William Street and Queens Avenue. A 45-year-old passenger from the truck was taken to hospital for treatment of serious injuries, as was a 70-year-old man from the SUV. A 67-year-old woman from the SUV was also taken to hospital, and she was pronounced deceased today.

The SIU is urging anyone who may have information about this investigation, including video or photos, to contact the lead investigator at 1-800-787-8529 or online at: https://siu.on.ca/en/appeals.php
